Nick Shipp
graduated in 1982. nick worked for 5 years with abwaters in london as a project architect. an interim sabbatical with wheeler associates, los angeles, was followed by the formation of his first practice arcc with two other young london designers before setting up to practice in his own right. as an experienced architect on a wide range of work that also brought him into contact with interests for environmentally sensitive design and humid tropic architecture in west africa and, latterly, sri lanka.
Joseph Fairbairn
a fellow director of nick shipp architects, joseph qualified from the university of dundee in 2005. his career has seen him work in belfast, glasgow and edinburgh, notably spending a number of years working for large scale practices in edinburgh on a variety of domestic and international projects.
having relocated to bath in 2010, joseph’s experience brings strong design, presentation and technical skills to the practice.
as a champion of the practices bim cad system this enables efficient working, collaboration and output methods across all projects, also helping our clients quickly visualise and explore their projects together with us.
Jim Reynolds
having studied in waterford, canterbury and edinburgh, jim graduated with a masters in architectural technology from edinburgh napier university. jim joined nsa in 2016 and with 12+ yrs experience provides valued technical expertise to the practice.
with a flair for the technical and detailed aspect of architecture, jim thrives in the construction stages of design and enjoys getting heavily evolved with on-site activities.
over the past years jim has gained considerable experience in a variety of sectors ranging from small scale domestic to larger commercial, educational and mixed-use developments.
