the coach house - timsbury
a new extension and refurbishment project located in the somerset countryside and set within a generous landscaped garden.
our client's brief was to reimagine the ground floor layout. by designing a new orangery garden room structure to the previously blank rear elevation, this would take full advantage of the generous landscape gardens and woodland that faced this aspect.
with our client initially based overseas, nick shipp architects were able to manage the design and approvals process remotely. on site, construction works were organised in tandem with the client's relocation and eventual occupation of their new family home.
